My Grandmother lived in Texas during the great depression and she told me that they went to Robin roosts at night and used long sticks to knock as many birds down as they thought they could eat. Let's hope no one tries this at the Piney Creek roost. Jesse Livingston Troy, TN > Tracking down the Robin roost in Lewis County this evening (12/30/08) > proved to be quite easy.
