[TN-Bird] Roan Mtn Birding Trip (June 25)

Senator Joe Sam Queen and his wife Kate invite area birders to join them for a
day of birding at several prime sites on Roan Mountain on Saturday, June 25.
This field trip is co-sponsored by the Western North Carolina Birding Club and
the Southern Appalachian Highlands Conservancy, and co-led by Senator and Mrs.
Queen and SAHC's Seasonal Ecologist Nora Shubert. The meeting place is the
Creekside Restaurant, NC Hwy. 226, Bakersville, NC, one block north of the
Mitchell County Offices. The group will depart from the restaurant at 8:30
a.m., and the hike will end about 4:00 - 5:00 p.m. Bring a lunch and
