[TN-Bird] Roan Creek

I went to Roan Creek in Johnson County, TN yesterday to look for Herons,
Peepers, Great Egrets, etc in the mud flats along the shore. It was about
4:30pm and I did not see or hear many birds. There was an Osprey that took
off from tree over the water and a crow flew after it. The time for day may
be a factor.
Anyway, I don't understand why there are not many of these birds on Watauga
Lake and it attributers as there is on S. Holston.
I was really trying out my optics that I have studied.
