Last Monday I reported a Mourning Warbler heard at Maryville College Woods
among 13 other warbler species. I had recorded the singing and after
reviewing it with input from others, I've decided it is not a Mourning
afterall, which would have nearly been the earliest TN sighting on record.
It was most likely a Kentucky doing a 2-part song, but I am still waiting on
combined comments from others before making a declaration. Sorry for my
error.
