Glen Criswell and I also birded Western Dyer County and 79W in Lake County yesterday. We also had a large number of White-crowned Sparrows and they can usually be found in the Reelfoot Area well into May. In addition to the shorebirds you had we had 8 Golden Plovers at Highway 103 and Great River Road. We had some water there yesterday but that area was completely dry last week. There is fairly good habitat for shorebirds in White Lake where we had a Broad-winged Hawk, Osprey and a number of Little Blue Herons. Apparently TWRA has been pumping water into the Lake. The Cliff Swallows are back in large numbers (300+) under the east end of the Mississippi River bridge near there.
