Its nice to look out over the lower Blue Basin of Reelfoot lake, Lake co, to see it coming alive . The Ruddy Duck Population continues to increase and now the Lesser Scaup are very present. One Pied Billed Grebe popped up to be counted and the Bonaparte Gulls and ringbilled Gulls. Of course the D. C. Cormorants were out in great number and were doing a drive. Water was very rough making it hard to see detail on distant birds in the water. Should be a great weekend for birding. Hoping the water will be calmer. Had my first Brown Creeper for the Fall season at Keystone Park.
