[TN-Bird] Red-throated loons (Hamilton Co, TN)

Stopped off at Booker T Washington Park in Hamilton Co around noon on my way to 
Atlanta for a meeting today to look for the Pacific loon and surf scoter.  The 
scoter was at Chickamuga Dam and was the first thing I saw when I got out of 
the car.  Never saw a pacific loon but there were 2 red-throated loons at 
Booker T Washington Park, which were last seen swimming north out of view (as I 
ran back from the car with my camera).  
 
Also stopped off at Buford Dam in Gwinnett Co, GA to look for the Iceland gull 
spotted yesterday.  After striking out at the spot reported on the GABO 
listserv I finally ran into a couple of local birders looking through a scope 
way out on a point in a closed county park near dusk and got a life gull.
