While scoping Douglas Lake from the boat launch in Sevier County, I located the
Red-throated Loon in Jefferson County. Most of the waterfowl have either moved
on or have found shelter in other parts of the Lake. A good north wind today
had pushed the White-winged Scoters into a sheltered cove in Sevier County near
Flat Creek. The Red-throated Loon was all by itself.
