Dec. 26, 2002 Ensley Bottoms Shelby Co. TN A quick trip through Ensley, around noon today, produced a few fine photos of an adult LIGHT-MORPH HARLAN'S HAWK. One in-flight shot and a portrait head shot show the identifying field marks. From one point, I had 16 Red-tailed Hawks in view, including this light Harlan's, 2 immature Krider's, 1 dark morph, I rufous morph, at least 2 light "calurus", among the standard Eastern variety.......... Quite a Red-tailed Hawk show and tail ;o) Good Birding!!! Jeff R.
