10-26-2020 I snuck noiselessly to my favorite weedy tangle along our
creek bed and phished. As I watched a Magnolia Warbler I heard a
Connecticut Warbler calling right in front of me! It walked out on a weed
stem and bobbed back and forth as it watched me from 15’ away! An adult
male, and the best looks I ever had at this species! The previous late
record was October 19th in Washington County 45 years ago!
