I volunteered for river watch duties as part of the Perry County Fall
bird count yesterday at Lady's Bluff, (Mouse-tail Landing State Park) which
is across the Tennessee River from the Busseltown Unit TNWR. I had a
respectable 16 species of raptors at this location, which is the highest
number I can remember ever getting at one place.
Of the expected raptors, I only missed Osprey.
