[TN-Bird] Rankin Bottoms

Rankin Bottoms, Cocke county, 9/19, 5-8pm, by canoe
Lake elevation: 985.2 ft., mudflats surfacing, scope recommended

Shorebirds were concentrated on the point of the far mudbar east of the coal 
tower (except for killdeer, which were everywhere).  About 20 shorebirds, which 
we could not identify, swooped in from the west after sunset.
