Radnor Lake State Natural Area Davidson Co. Nashville, TN Wednesday 2009 Sept. 16 7-9 am cloudy with a bit of light rain This Wednesday morning was my farwell to Radnor for the next 10 days since I'll be in AZ on business. Althoug the weather did not cooperate very well, the birding was not too bad. I had 9 warbler species, including my first of the fall BLACK-THROATED GREEN and a rarely seen (for Radnor) PINE WARBLER plus a pair of VEERYs before the pull of work got too strong. However, I missed the OLIVE SIDED FLYCATCHER that Jan Shaw and company found.
