Radnor Lake Davidson Co. Nashville, TN Friday September 16, 2005 7-9 am After yesterday's rain I decided to try my luck at Radnor Lake this Friday morning. Although numbers of birds increased, with flocks of AMERICAN ROBINs and CEDAR WAXWINGs in particular wandering about, there were only modest increases in warblers and thrushes. I did see 4 SCARLET TANAGERs so they apparently made a push. I also got my first BLACK-THROATED GREEN WARBLER of the season and saw a YELLOW-BELLIED FLYCATCHER near Long Bridge. Birds of interest included: Pied billed Grebe 1 Yellow-billed Cuckoo 1 Chimney Swift 25+ Yellow-bellied Flycathcer 1 Swainson's Thrush 4 Gray Catbird 1 Brown Thrasher 1 Cedar Waxwing 30+ Tennessee Warbler 1 Chestnut-sided Warbler 2 Magnolia Warbler 6 Black-throated Green Warbler 1 Black and white Warbler 2 American Redstart 4 Ovenbird 2 Common Yellowthroat 1 Scarlet Tanager 4 -- Frank Fekel Tennessee State University Center of Excellence in Information Systems 3500 John A.
