Tuesday and Wednesday I visited Radnor Lake with Phillip Casteel. The number of migration species is picking up there, but tomorrow I am headed west on business trip to Arizona. Thus, this was my last chance to see eastern birds until early May. Migrants for the two days included: Yellow-billed Cuckoo Sawinson's Thrush White-eyed Vireo Blue-headed Vireo Yellow-throated Vireo Red-eyed Vireo Rose-breasted Grosbeak Scarlet Tanager Orchard Oriole Also of interest was an Eastern Kingbird building a nest near the lake edge and high in a sycamore tree. 15 species of Warblers: Blue-winged Tennessee Orange-crowned 1 on Wed.
