Radnor Lake State Natural Area
Davidson Co.
Nashville, TN

7:00-9:45 am
Gorgeous morning, clear skies and warming temps.

Phillip Casteel and I arrived at Radnor Lake for the daily rare bird
watch. We spent over 2 hours searching the around the Ranger residence
and dam area but neither heard nor saw the MACGILLIVRAY'S WARBLER.
I also briefly searched a portion of the lake trail. This is the first
time I have missed it. Perhaps it did not like the fact that I brought
my camera along?!?! The RUDDY and its buddy, SURF SCOTER, were still at
Radnor, continuing to hang out in the middle of the lake and best seen
from Otter Creek Road. Other ducks included 5 BLACK DUCKs and about
a dozen GADWALL.

Other birds:
Eastern Phoebe 3
Winter Wren 2
Fox Sparrow 1
