I had a Yellow-throated Vireo singing all morning outside the building at
ETSU-Allandale in Hawkins County this morning. Hadn't heard one here in
weeks.

Yes that makes a lot of sense, and explains the magical reappearances
of many birds in early September (i.e. right about now).
