Me and a friend took a hike around Radnor lake (8.30am to 10.30am).
Here is what we saw:
1. Great Blue Heron (one)
2. Green Heron (two: one adult, one immature): They were both seen in
different locations. The adult was having lunch.
3. Tufted titmouse (one)
4. Black and white warbler (two)
5. Heard several woodpecker drums
Unidentified:
In the frontyard of my house, I observed a small bird that I wasn't able
to identify. It was the size of a american goldfinch; the body was
black with unmistakable bright orange cheeks and tail tip. I didn't get
enough view to see if a part of the wings was also orange.
