Hi All, Radnor Lake, especially Ganier Ridge, was truly alive with bird songs this afternoon. At times their combined voices amounted to a din. First of season birds seen were Rose-breasted Grosbeak, Scarlet Tanager, Ovenbird, Wilson's, Chestnut-sided, and Magnolia Warblers. Tennessee, Black-throated Green and Yellow-rumped Warblers vied for the strength in numbers award. I think the Yellow- rumps won, but it was close.
