[TN-Bird] RFI - birding Nashville area, April 1-3

I would appreciate suggestions for early April birding in Nashville.
I'm visiting from Minnesota, 3/29-4/4 and will have a rental car.
I visited your TNBird website and noted the places listed in the
metropolitan area.

If weather permits, I am also considering a slow kayak trip on the Harpeth
River.
Local paddlers have also recommended Long Hunter State Park.  Any thoughts
on birding in those places?

I'll be staying at Gaylord Opryland hotel for the first four days.
