It is fine to drive to the first pond. There is a sign at the point by which 
you should not go beyond.

On my way to the Carolinas this weekend I am going to drive by the Paddle Creek 
Pond and look for the Tricolored Heron.  Is viewing from the main road, or is 
it OK to drive down the gravel farm road to the corner of the pond?
