Greetings,

A precious pair of purple finches perched on my hummingbird feeder just
outside my French doors to the deck here in the Charlotte Prk section of West
Nashville in Davidson County. Perhaps they like sugar water, too. After
several
minutes, together they flew off to the west toward the Cumberland River and
Bell's Bend.

Just now, when I went to refill my coffee cup, I saw a small flock of rock
pigeons flying north to south over my yard with a peregrine falcon on hot
pursuit. I would almost bet that it got one of them and is now enjoying a late
breakfast or early lunch somewhere to the south of my house. Love my
peregrines
when they fly through the yard.
