4-8-14 Radnor Lake Davidson Co. This morning Seth Wright and I birded Radnor Lake and were delighted to find two male Blackburnians, at least one (maybe two) Prothonotarys and two below eye-level Yellow-throated Warblers. The ranger reported seeing a Prothonotary there on April 4. Highlights: blue-winged teal 6 redhead 1 male in the water just out from the new cane bridge barred owl 2 white-eyed vireo yellow-throated vireo purple martin tree swallow n. rough-winged swallow barn swallow blue-gray gnatcatchers lots hermit thrush n. parula yellow-rumped everywhere! black-throated green blackburnian yellow-throated warbler prothonotary L. waterthrush The nest cavity I had been watching with the competing chickadees and bluebirds had nobody present the last two times I've been there.
