Radnor Lake
Davidson Co.

This morning Seth Wright and I birded Radnor Lake and were delighted to
find two male Blackburnians, at least one (maybe two) Prothonotarys and two
below eye-level Yellow-throated Warblers. The ranger reported seeing a
Prothonotary there on April 4.

Highlights:
blue-winged teal 6
redhead 1 male in the water just out from the new cane bridge
barred owl 2
white-eyed vireo
yellow-throated vireo
purple martin
tree swallow
n. rough-winged swallow
barn swallow
blue-gray gnatcatchers lots
hermit thrush
n. parula
yellow-rumped everywhere!
black-throated green
blackburnian
yellow-throated warbler
prothonotary
L. waterthrush

The nest cavity I had been watching with the competing chickadees and
bluebirds had nobody present the last two times I've been there.
