Feb. 14, 2018
J. Percy Priest Lake, Seven Points Rec. Area, Davidson Co. TN

This morning Jan Shaw and I looked for the 30+ RED-BREASTED
MERGANSERS which I found yesterday at 7-Points; luckily we re-found them in
about the same area, the bay off the campground loop, on the Cook Rec. Area
side. They flew off to the right toward Cook.

Later we found a group of 13 WHITE-WINGED SCOTTERS out from the picnic
area. They moved from the channel left toward the public boat ramp, but did
not go all the way over, and stayed in the water off the picnic area. A
group of about 30 Red-breasted Mergansers flew in on the far side, but we
suspect this was the same flock seen earlier.
