[TN-Bird] Praire Warblers of the Mountains

I did not see the original post about Northeast TN and Prairie Warblers. I
found them to be relatively abundant in clear cuts on the mountainsides in
Unicoi County in the 1990's during my research. Similarly, I have found
them in a two fairly large clear cuts here in Rutherford County in NC
(foothills). Sadly, I cannot hear them except at very close range, so for
me it is a matter of knowing where to look. But these sites seem to be
fairly reliable locations to find this beautiful bird and nesting, though
undocumented, is a virtual certainty here. I remember being surprised by
their presence when I found them the first time in the mountains. I guess I
just thought they were a lowland species. I found them in Unicoi at
elevations up to about 3500 feet near Unaka Mountain just to the North of
Rock Creek Park.
