[TN-Bird] "Pink-sided" Junco and Loggerhead Shrike, Lewis County

In my ramblings around Lewis county today (1/5/09), I found a very
nicely marked "Pink-sided" (Dark-eyed) Junco. It had a crisp and
clean slate gray hood contrasting sharply with bright pink sides and
white underparts, and a diffuse reddish-brown wash over its back.
This is the "cleanest" individual of this form I have ever seen in
the southeastern U.S. (flashbacks to my years in the Mountain West);
I'm guessing it's a male. It was in the far north of the county,
east of the community of Kimmins. In the same general area I also
had only the second Loggerhead Shrike I have ever seen in Lewis county.
