Davidson County
This morning I saw a pine warbler on the Old Hickory Lake Nature Trail just
below the dam (end of Cinder Rd). It was on the main trail about 50 meters from
the entrance. It frequently foraged on the ground, sometimes on the trail, with
2 or 3 yellow-rumped warblers, and it often sang. Yesterday at 1 PM, with
Jennifer Rycenga of California, I saw a Bonaparte’s gull flying just below the
dam, and a bald eagle was perched above that nest on Cinder Rd.
