I had very little time for birding today after someone decided to run their car through about 60 feet of pasture fence, but did have some luck with a species for which I've been looking. Had a flock of 21 Pine Siskins fly over the road and then had 11 more at feeders in the yard. They bullied the larger House Finches away and gorged themselves, taking up every feeding perch on one feeder and the whole platform on the other later. Also had 2 Red-breasted Nuthatches at a another feeder. Not that my hearing is the best but it was a little difficult to hear anything with 2 gregarious Red-headed Woodpeckers in the woods next to the feeders most of the day.
