DSundy, Lisa Jorgensen graciously assisted me with my move from nw Shelby
County into Memphis. We took a brief lunch break out of the intermittent
rain at a picnic shelter in Shelby Forest State Park. While enjoying the
World Famous Cheeseburgers from the Shelby Forest General Store, a tiny
Pine Siskin hopped onto our table. We offered it bun crumbs but the
friendly little sprite was not interested. Instead it only seemed
interested in making our acquaintance, coming close enough to touch, had we
wished to do so. Eventually, it tired of our company, flying into the
inclement weather to search for more suitable sustenance in the next
shelter.
