I had a single Pine Siskin visiting the feeders this morning (Feb. 20) at home
in Hampton, TN, in Carter County.

The bird is the first siskin to visit my feeders during the 2002-2003 winter.

The Red-breasted Nuthatch, which first appeared on Feb. 1, is still present,
and a regular visitor to a suet block and the black oil sunflower seeds.

Bryan Stevens,
Hampton, TN
