[TN-Bird] Re: Pileated nest: Flickers (knox co)

This marshy area is one of Boyd Sharp's little-known "Urban Commando"
spots in West Knoxville. A really nice spot for marshy birds like
Willow Flycatcher, Common Yellowthroat, Wood Duck and the sort. And
as Boyd would say, "Get your waders on and you'll find a Sora out there."

We need to get Boyd to lead a KTOS trip to all his exotic locales like
the pond in front of Lowe's (also good for Willow FC); the Bobolink
field on Parkside Drive; the duck pond out by Webb School; the big
pond by Brown Squirrel Furniture and the little ponds by Park West
Hospital where there was a Wood Stork once; Ten-mile Creek behind a
shopping center on S. Peters Road where a Green Heron spent a couple
of winters and got on the Knox CBC; Walker Springs Park and the
greenway behind Wal-mart; Fox Lake at Fox Lake Apartments....
