The Pickwick GLAUCOUS GULL was seen early this morning at the Gull
roost up lake from Bruton Branch, then below the dam at 8:30 and 11:30 a.m.
Three adult RED-THROATED LOONS continue on the lake, seen at Bruton
Branch and the State Park.
A male LONG-TAILED DUCK was seen out from the TVA dock, as well as a
single WHITE-WINGED SCOTER. The Scoter was still visible from the State
Park and the dam, but the Long-tail had disappeared.
No sign of the Rough-legged Hawk at Shiloh Shores, not a surprise
considering the grassy fields have all been mowed and construction going on
in the area.
FOS birds included Northern Parula and Yellow-throated Warblers,
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher, Caspian Tern.
