November 5th, 2017
I got a little time to climb the Raptor Lookout this morning. (Not nearly
enough)
Robins and Waxwings were almost continuously in sight, good numbers
heading South (thousands)
Also rather unusual away from the river, 164 Double-crested Cormorants
and 4 Common Loons passed over headed South.
My biggest surprise was a small group of 5 DUNLIN, also flying South,
only the third shorebird species ever for my yard, (counting Killdeer and
Woodcock) and number 182 for the yard overall.
