A Peregrine Falcon was observed by Larry McDaniel flying into Doe River Gorge from the parking lot of the Doe River Gorge Campground on Sunday, May 5, 2002. This is in Hampton, Carter County, TN. Larry and myself looked forit again in the gorge but did not see it again. Prime areas for nesting exist back in the gorge. Common Ravens have nested here for years. A nesting record would be very important since few exist for TN.
