I returned yet again (and again) yesterday (Sunday) to the pond at the Pellissippi State campus in west Knox County, Tennessee. The "snow goose" that I reported Saturday was not there. After looking at photographs I took of it Saturday and comparing them to photos I had taken of the blue goose about a month ago, I am now convinced that it was not a snow goose but a Ross's. Unfortunately, it was not there at noon Sunday nor when I returned around 3 p.m. (the same time of day I had seen it Saturday). I did see the redhead that I didn't find Saturday that has now been there for at least a week.
