Returning from my walk a little late last evening I was surprised to hear the 
woodcock "singing".  Guess they're always in the mood for spring?  He's in the 
same spot as always, a wet drainage in an old sucessional field almost within 
sight of Tellico Lake.
Speaking of spring....I'd better get back to work....
