Today yielded nothing of note on Woods Reservoir. In fact, few b irds were
even to be seen, let alone in flight. Even the Rough-winged swallows
preferred to be perched on wires.

On Saturday there were 5 Pectoral Sandpipers at the one remaining
productive "Hillsboro Pond", (cf. Bierly-the "main pond" is overgrown).
This pond is on route 41 south of Hillsboro and north of Betsy Willis
Creek. Look for the silos on the West side of the highway.
