This is apparently the third year for this Painted Bunting in Knox County. Carolyn Jane Skremsky just told me she saw it first for a few days in early spring 2006. In 2007 she saw it again for about 3 days and sent a photo taken Jan 13, 2007 to Dean Edwards. Now it's in the same area in late March 2008.
