Thanks to Ruben Stoll for showing me and others roosting Long-eared Owls in
Dyer County yesterday, Feb. 12, and to Daniel Redwine who I understand tromped
around acres of soggy forest to find the roost. Ruben stood around in cold
drizzle all morning! If you’re going on Saturday, definitely wear boots, you
have to step through a flooded ditch to get to the trail.
Thanks again to The Stoll’s, Daniel, and all the great Tennessee birders who
are always looking!
