Jim and Bettie Mason of Knoxville had an ovenbird in their yard from
November into January last winter. I saw it Jan 7, 2017 and reported it
on eBird with a photo and details of its stay in their yard. Their bird
was near the UTKnoxville Campus. Maybe it transferred to Chattanooga
this winter.

I just found an Ovenbird on the UTC campus! Somershoe and Sloan list a January Ovenbird in Johnson City in 2009, but only a December record for Chattanooga.
