Dear Birders...
Steve and I decided to get out and about this afternoon and enjoy the
sunshine so we headed to Old Hickory Lake in Davidson County. Highlights
included 2 SEMIPALMATED PLOVERS, 1 (WESTERN) WILLET, 5 SPOTTED SANDPIPERS all
near and around Snow Bunting Peninsula. As more fisherman arrived we decided
to see what we could find on the Old Hickory Damn Trail. We were not
disappointed. We had 9 species of Warbler and found a nesting pair of
Red-Shouldered Hawks on the Willowswamp Loop Trail.
The complete list of birds is below.
Until next time,
As always,
Good Birding!!
