[TN-Bird] OT-IBWO audio question

FYI. From one of the principals in the AR IBWO search.

I wonder who the "unconvinced" are since the NYT article represented Prum and
Robbins as "strongly convinced" and "absolutely stunned", respectively.

Kelly and ARBIRD folks,

The sound recordings that have been referred to in recent news reports are
still being analyzed. It is premature to assume that they are recordings of
IBWOs as reported in the press, as that conclusion has not been reached by
everyone involved.

There will be a presentation on the results (to date) of the acoustic data
given by Russ Charif of Cornell at the AOU meeting in late August.

As of now, none of the recordings are available to the public.

I thought there were some recordings made of the recently discovered "Elvis".

Are they not available for the general public or would it have to be
purchased?

(Or is there a dispute over authenticity?)
