Off-topic but had a cool nature experience at lunch today.

As I was walking out to my car, I spotted something running across
the parking lot. First thought it was going to be a Cow Killer but
when I got closer I saw it was a spider wasp (family Pompilidae)
dragging a wolf spider. The wasp looked like a miniature version
of a Tarantula Hawk like you would see in Arizona or somewhere...
black with orange wings.

Fun to watch as she would drag the spider for about 6 inches facing
backwards then stop, turn around and get her bearings then go back
for the spider again. She quickly made it over to the curb, drug
the spider up the curb and then through the mulch and plants to
the burrow. Cool stuff.
