As Virginia drove past the bluff about halfway up Snows Hill this morning she
saw swallows and came back to get me. Her initial call of Northern
Rough-winged was confirmed when we got good looks at about a dozen of them as
they zoomed around the bluff and briefly lit to drink the water seeping from
the rocks. Spring is here - we're looking for a Ruby-throated Hummingbird
today.
