Lake Co, Tn
Hwy 213
I was driving into town on Hwy 213 this morning when a female N. Harrier flew
up out of the soybean field. This is a FOS. I still have juvenile Great Horned
Owls in my trees. They have been fun to keep up with. It is still really dry
here. Not much habitat for shore birds. Hope they put water in Black Bayou
soon. The rice fields are being cut and the fields are dry so no chance for
rails. At least the G. Egrets are coming into the trees in the lake behind my
house.
