I walked the entire loop for a change at Songbird Trail below Norris Dam (Anderson Co.) today, 10/3. Three small reddish-leaved trees on the outside of the loop near the road were very active with Scarlet Tanager, Swainson's Thrush, Bluebird, Rose-breasted Grosbeak, Cardinal, Towhee, Catbird, Brown thrasher, and Magnolia warbler seen in them with most eating the berries. 10:00 - 12:40: American Redstart - 1 Black-and-White warbler - 2 Chestnut-sided warbler - 2 m Magnolia warbler - 4 Ovenbird - 1 Palm warbler - 6-11 (2 groups of 5---same group?)
