Victor and I joined several Hamilton County birders and others to search
for the Clay-colored this morning, and the bird had not been refound when
we left around 11 a.m.
We did see quite a few Field Sparrows, also a Least Flycatcher.
The White Ibis at Boiling Pond in White Co. was still present, but the
Avocet had moved out.
On the Boiling Pond checklist we had 19 species flagged as rare, though
many of them weren't actually rare, of course.
Best birds were a Sedge, 2 House and 2 Marsh Wrens, Lincoln's Sparrow,
another Least Flycatcher, a Gadwall, several nice warblers and a few
continuing Sandpipers.
