[TN-Bird] Nightjars at Kyker Bottoms, Blount County

Last evening I spent about an hour at Kyker Bottoms.  Heard both  
Whip-poor-will and Chuck-will's-widow calling at dusk.  Other birds seen  were:
Canada geese
Mallard
American black duck
"peep" sandpipers too away to ID without a scope
Song sparrow
Goldfinch
Blue grosbeak
Purple martin
Tree swallow
Barn swallow
Mourning dove
Chimney swift
Eastern kingbird
Eastern bluebird
Robin
Orchard oriole
Blue jay
American crow
Common grackle
Eastern meadowlark
Red-winged blackbird
Brown-headed cowbird
Starling
 
Warren Bielenberg
Maryville
