[TN-Bird] Nighthawks

TN-Birders,
I usually don't mind being woken up by spring migrants singing outside my
open windows in spring, but last night I was woken up at some random hour (not
sure I looked at the clock) by a group of Common Nighthawks calling outside my
window last night in Nashville. Considering how sleepy I've been lately, I'm
amazed I woke up. However I was coherent enough to know why I woke up, made
the bird ID, and fell back asleep. I guess my cat could have been spazing out
by the calls (she loves when crows call outside) and she woke me up (running
across me while trying to sleep) and then my brain turned onto the nighthawks.
I've seen lots of nighthawks around Nashville lately, but guess I haven't
recently encountered them calling a lot long after dark (or maybe I'm just not
out much after dark anymore).

Cheers,
   Scott Somershoe
