TN birders, Daniel Jacobson and I had a Laughing Gull on the backside of Nickajack Lake on the rock pile opposite the cave entrance in the lake backwaters.? This is slightly upriver to the millfoil where daniel counted 35 black terns.? I had called Kevin Calhoun to relay this to the listserv, but he may have been out of town.? We had finished a run into Jackson Co, AL looking for AL state birds, with the two highlights being an olive-sided flycatcher on CO 91(called Hogjowl Road on the TN side) and a heard northern waterthrush on Island Creek Road.
